Job Description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Coordinates with planning section for the production schedule and delivery difficulties.2. Coordinates with Material Control if encountered problems with raw materials and indirect materials.3. Arrange and monitors daily manpower to ensure smooth and production flow.4. Monitors and checks compliance of subordinates to SOP and established safety procedures.5. Controls and monitors production quality in line. Analyzes defects to improve quality.6. Orients engineers, leaders and operators once MRB and CAR are received. Implements and monitors corrective actions.7. Oversees the performance of engineers ensuring task per shift are done.8. Collaborates with QA department to identify and implement on-going quality improvements.9. Supports engineering change notice (ECN) and related material review board (MRB) activities as required.10. Simulates/evaluates returned materials/products (RTV).11. Generates/revises work instruction as required. Orients leaders and operators regarding the changes.12. Collaborates with EE or PE for tools, fixture, machine or process improvement.13. Analyzes operations and cycle time to set standard working time and identify capacity improvements.14. Participates in standardizing work area, work methods and process for production.15. Collects, analyzes, summarizes and presents production process data information trends to management.16. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by immediate superiors.
