  It is the responsibility of the SENIOR CHEMICAL ANALYST to perform chemical analysis on incoming, in-process and finished good products at appropriate stages in production flow. Implement and enforce good laboratory and safety practices.
  
  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  
   Perform routine and non-routine chemical analysis and sampling of all plating solutions using standard operating procedures.
   Makes necessary adjustments on the plating bath to maintain its target concentration and maintain plating solution level.
   Monitor and inform the Supervisor/ Consultant any abnormal occurrence in the plating line.
   Acknowledges any abnormalities on the plating solutions and initiate initial adjustments to rectify the situation.
   Assist during evaluation of new products, whenever necessary.
   Write and execute chemical testing procedures.
   Maintain up-to-date documents for chemical testing methods and activities.
   Operate laboratory equipment safely and effectively to conduct testing including troubleshoots, calibration and maintain it within the standard working conditions.
   Record, analyze and report test results of abnormal occurrence and any initial adjustments he/she has done to the immediate superiors.
   Monitors the trends in the Plating Bath Control Record (PBCR) for any potential abnormality.
   Maintain and monitor the inventory of chemicals and supplies in laboratory and prepare Purchase Requisition if necessary.
   Assist during inventory taking procedures of chemical at the chemical storage area.
   Negotiates with the suppliers of chemical and direct materials.
   Responsible in in-depth training of new Chemical Analysts based on established Procedure and Working Guidelines.
   Responsible in updating the Procedures and Working Guidelines of Laboratory.
   Initiate cost reduction activities.
   Responsible to meet departmental productivity and quality goals.
   Ensure that section’s reportorial requirements are communicated with the immediate superior, accomplished accurately and submitted on time.
   Ensures that all confidential information and documents are strictly maintained.
   Ensures that the quality and environmental policy is faithfully followed and 5S and safety are strictly practiced.
   Performs other duties as maybe assigned by the superior
   Communicates effectively with Production, QC, Wastewater and Purchasing Section.
   Practice and maintain high level of professionalism and business ethics
   Provides necessary information across organization
   Attend section and/or cross-functional meetings and other coordination as may think are necessary
