  JOB SUMMARY:
  The BIM Specialist uses Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to perform advance drawing and modeling work tasks in compliance with the company guidelines. Must be able to solve BIM related problems as well as contribute in the development of BIM technology within the company. He/ She reports to the BIM Manager and perform assigned tasks accordingly.
  
  • Building Information Modeling
  o Create Architectural and Structural Revit models and drawings
  o Create and improve Revit families, project templates and BIM Manuals
  o Create detailed model to be used in the design and construction phase of projects
  o Executes clash check between Architectural, Structural and Mechanical models
  o Acquires quantities of materials and other required information from the design model
  o Actively provide support in solving BIM problems and issues encountered by the team
  o Any other items to be developed through BIM
  • Creates models in compliance with Japanese Building Code and JFE Civil design requirements
  • Contribute in the training and improvement of skills of BIM Modelers in the company
  • Explore the use of different BIM software and contribute in the improvement of BIM processes and workflow within
  the company and;
  • Actively participate and contribute in developing the use of BIM in the company
  • Learn Japanese Language to communicate with our Japanese counterpart
