Job summaryAs an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Financial and Accounting functions of our organization. This role requires a high level of professionalism, strategic thinking, and the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting Control and Compliance• Develop and manage a robust accounting control system to ensure all accounting functions comply with accounting principles and government regulations.• Ensure adherence to Philippines Financial Reporting Standards and company procedures, maintaining accuracy in all financial information and data.• Establish, develop, and continuously improve accounting policies and procedures to enhance workflow and ensure compliance with company rules and regulations.2. Financial Planning and Reporting• Oversee the planning, organizing, and directing of all aspects of the accounting department, including budget preparation and financial forecasts.• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other management analysis reports.• Prepare and submit the financial report package (DIVA) to the Head Quarter, ensuring reports are accurate, timely, and comprehensive.3. Tax Management and Reporting• Handle all tax-related matters, including tax declarations, filings, and issue resolutions. Liaise with internal departments and external parties such as banks, auditors, tax authorities, and government organizations.• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and manage tax-related issues efficiently.4. Financial Management• Oversee cash management functions, including both incoming and outgoing cash flows. Ensure liquidity and financial stability with effective management.• Assist management with corporate financial planning and collaborate closely with the Head Quarter to align financial strategies and objectives.5. Team Leadership and Development• Delegate tasks effectively and oversee day-to-day accounting operation. • Lead and manage the accounting department, including coaching and developing the subordinates to enhance performance and professional growth.• Monitor accounting activities to ensure adherence to accounting rules and regulations.6. Cross-Functional Collaboration• Collaborate with other departments within the company and cross-functional teams, including the group company, to support business, accounting process improvements, operational best practices, and initiative projects.7. Operational Excellence• Support and drive initiatives for accounting process improvement and operational best practices.• Perform other special tasks assigned by management as needed.
